Maintenance

Due to increased load on the backend server it needs to be upgraded.
This should take about 5 minutes.

Server tweaks and enhancements will be applied throughout the day. Expect intermittent outages.

I will be updating the Lemmy front-end and backend.

Updating may cause some intermittent outages.

I will be creating a database backup. During this time no connections to the database can be active. The site will be down for a few minutes during the backup period.

Once live I will do some testing. If all passes I'll keep it. If issues, I will be rolling back to the backup.

We will be continue to setup monitoring for the services. There may be intermittent outages as services are restarted for configuration changes.

Update complete. I will continue to monitor for issues.

Migration completed successfully. Will continue to monitor.

All servers and services will be scaling down during a short 5 - 10 minutes outage window.
